Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others. Workshop members must be responsible for carrying their own art equipment.
1. Payment Conditions:
A non-refundable reservation deposit of AU$1000 per person (less any pre-registration deposit already paid) is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due 30 days prior to the date of departure. Payment can be made by the following methods:

2. Alteration to Workshop Price:
The Thailand Painting Workshop price is subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances and changes in the cost of travel and accommodation services. Should any increase in the Workshop price be unacceptable to the registered member, a full refund of monies paid will be made.
3. Cancellation and Amendments:
Cancellations received in writing before 5:00pm on 21st of March 2015 will result in a cancellation fee of AU$1,000 per person cancelling. Cancellations received after 5:00pm on 21st of March, 2015 will result in a loss of all monies paid. There are no refunds for services not utilized while on a the Workshop. Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover Workshop members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the Workshop and for cancellation fees that could result from illness, accident, death or other contingencies.
4. Minimum Workshop Numbers:
Each Painting Workshop has been priced on the basis of a minimum number of members travelling. In the event that fewer than the minimum number of members have confirmed their booking 30 days from the date of commencement, Thailand Painting Workshop reserves the right to cancel the Workshop, giving a full refund of monies paid.
In the unlikely event that the Workshop tutor is unable to perform his duties due to unforeseen contingencies, Thailand Painting Workshop reserves the right to substitute another artist as tutor or to continue with the Workshop as planned. 6. Workshop Accommodation:
Workshop transfers depart at midday (or prior) from the Workshop hotel. When booking your own flights, we request that Workshop members organize their flights to arrive prior to midday on the commencement day of the Workshop. If this is not possible then we recommend that Workshop members arrive a day early and stay at the designated Workshop hotel. Workshop members are advised to download the Workshop Itinerary and there will be a Meet and Greet of fellow artists and discussion of the workshop itinerary in the hotal foyer from 10am - 12pm on the 1st day of the Workshop, Monday 20th April, 2015. As prebooking hotel accomodation can not be held for more than seven days the details of the name and location of the workshop hotel will be emailed and notified by phone by 5:00pm on the 13th of April. Thailand Painting Workshop will make reservations at the Workshop hotel for all Workshop members, at special rates. Thailand Painting Workshop, their agents, officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to or in connection with these Workshop Vacations shall act only as agents for the passenger in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, restaurants, or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any services included in the Workshops, or by act of God. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism, or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, rerouting or acts of any government or authority. Baggage remains at owner’s risk throughout the Workshop. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of these Painting Workshops and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any Painting Workshop and/ or to make such changes in the Painting Workshop as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying-out of the Painting Workshop. ‘Registration for any Painting Workshop constitutes a contract which shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.

Are airfares included in the price?
No, airfares are not included in the price.
What happens if my flight does not arrive at the airport before the scheduled transfer to the workshop hotel?
Only one transfer is scheduled to transfer workshop members to their hotel. If your flight does not arrive in time for that transfer, we recommend that you arrive a day early or ask for a quote for a private transfer.
Do I bring my own materials and equipment?
The Workshop supplies all necessary painting equipment for acrylic medium only (due to humid conditions). If you paint in any other medium, please feel free to bring your own materials except highly inflammable liquids. Please check with customs list for dangerous goods. Another option is to purchase your materials locally at your own cost. If you would like to purchase them locally you will need to pre-order them 2 weeks prior to commencement of the class. Can I go on the trip and pay for my own hotels somewhere else?
Yes. The Workshop is sold as a package including accommodation based on a 3 star/twin share hotel at Karon Beach, Phuket. However, options are available to upgrade to a 4 star hotel or for you to book your own accommodation and receive a discount on the package price. Please ensure you book your accommodation close to Karon Beach as tours will be leaving on strict time table from the designated workshop hotel.
How can I be sure that Thailand Painting Workshop has received my booking and deposit?
On receipt of your booking form and deposit, Thailand Painting Workshop will send you a confirmation and email and letter.
